High mountain in the world

The Creator has given us many places and beauty, when we see the beautiful nature makes us realize the power and sovereignty of the divine Creator. Mount is one who gives us the sights and beauty when we looked at.BC collects 10 of the world’s highest peak, which is very interesting to note that eight of the ten peaks located in Nepal and two in Pakistan.

Mount Everest

Mount Everest

is the highest mountain in the world if measured from the top surface of the sea. Mountain which is located between the border of Nepal and Tibet; peak located in Tibet. In Nepal, the mountain is called Sagarmatha in Sanskrit means “brow of Heaven” and in Tibetan Chomolangma or Qomolangma means “Mother of the Universe”, whereas in pinyin Tionghoa language.

This mountain get their English name from the name of Sir George Everest. This name was given by Sir Andrew Waugh, the surveyor-general-British India, the successor of Everest. Everest is one of the Seven Main Peak in the world.

Godwin Austin

Godwin Austin is the second-highest mountain in the world. Located in the Karakoram Himalaya of Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China; is a national mountain in Pakistan. This high mountain reaches 8.611 meters (28.251 feet). That said, this is more difficult mountain to climb than Mount Everest because of bad weather. K2 is also higher in the surrounding area when compared to Everest. Godwin Austin is dubbed the “Mountains Cruel” because of this. In 2004, only 246 people managed to climb to the top. At least 56 people died while attempting to climb it.

Unofficial name for K2 is Mount Godwin Austen, is named from the name of the man who first climbed it. Besides these mountains also named Qogir (diturukan of Chogori), Lamba Pahar, Dapsang, Kechu, Ketu

Kangchenjunga

Kangchenjunga (Nepali: Kanchanja? Gh?) SewaLungma (Limbu) is the third highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest and Chogori with 8586 meters altitude (28 169 ft). This mountain is also the second highest mountain in Nepal. Kangchenjunga meaning “Five Treasure Snow, because it consists of five peaks, four of which reached more than 8450 meters.’s Treasure symbolizes five possessions of the gods of gold, silver, gems, grain and scriptures. Kangchenjunga in a language called Sewalungma Limbu and consecrated in the religious traditions Kirant. Three of the five peaks (main, center and south) restrict the region of North Sikkim district of Sikkim, India and Taplejung District of Nepal, and two others located in the Taplejung district. In addition, this region was also made Kangchenjunga Conservation Area Project by the World Wildlife Fund, the Red Panda protect wildlife, birds and plants typical of Nepal. The Indians also have a protected area within the National Park Khangchendzonga.

Lhotse

Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world with an altitude of 8516meters above sea level. Located on the south side of Mount Everest with coordinates 27 ° 58 ‘N, 86 ° 56’ E. Lhotse is sometimes mistakenly identified as the south summit of Everest. First ascent of Lhotse in 1956 by two Swiss, Fritz Luchsinger and Ernest Reiss. Makalu I

Makalu in Nepal, in China officially Makaru (Makalungma in limbu), is the world’s fifth highest mountain with an altitude of 8462 meters (27 762 ft) and is located 22 km (14 mi) east of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and China. Makalu is an isolated peak that looks like a four-sided pyramid.

Cho Oyu

Dhaulagiri

Dhaulagiri is the world’s seventh highest mountain, 8167 meters (26 795 ft). Located northwest of Pokhara, an important regional town and tourist center. On the other side of the Kali Gandaki gorge in the east lies Annapurna Himal, home to Annapurna I, one of eight other thousanders. Dhaulagiri means “White Mountain”.
