Three Indonesian warships
Three warships (KRI) on standby during the visit of Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Boediono in Palu, Central Sulawesi, 8-9 April 2010, to secure the hotels around the Gulf of Palu.
Hammers Lanal Commander Colonel March Hasanuddin, said that three ships were Warship Republik Indonesia (KRI) Suluh Pari located in ring II, and KRI Hasanuddin and KRI Fatahillah in ring III.
“The ships were stationed around the Gulf of Palu because Boediono hotel lodging and group vice president was right near the bay,” he said in Palu, Thursday.
Besides the three KRI, said Hasanuddin, also issued a number of Indonesian National Army troops of the Navy (TNI-AL), which will be ready in the ring I by using a speed boat.
“Some troops will also be on alert frog behind the hotel where the vice president was staying,” he said.
In addition, about 1,800 police and army personnel are also on alert in order to maintain the security of the working visit of the Vice President Boediono in Palu for two days
