1. “PIERRE GUILLAUMAT”
Biggest Ship Ever Created is the fourth class supertankers built Batillus France in the late 70’s, 555 000 dead weight tons and 414 meters long. Launched from the shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint Nazaire. The only larger ship was the jumbo “Knock Nevis”; ex “Jahre Viking”, ex “Seawise Giant”, ex “Porthos”, in the year 1981. But, supertankers from Batillus class has a gross tonnage greater, so that could be considered greater than the Knock Nevis.
The four ships of the class Batillus is as follows:
* Batillus, made in 1976, rested in 1985.
* Bellamya, made in 1976, rested in 1986.
* Pierre Guillaumat, made in 1977, rested in 1983.
2. “Super Tanker Knock Nevis”
this king of all supertankers, and possibly if viewed from its dimension is the largest ship ever built. What is clear for which is still operating, this is indeed the largest ships. Career-travel stories are also quite interesting.

Knock Nevis, or T.T. Jahre Viking is the largest ship ever built. This is a super tanker with a class ULCC (Ultra Large Crude Carrier), boats are a length of 485 meters (1503 feet), when the ship was standing then the ship will be taller than the Petronas Twin Tower. Jahre Viking has a depth of 25 meters fully laden. Because of their large size, the Jahre Viking can not pass through the canal of Panama or Suez Canal and even the English Channel, was not passable. Cargo capacity (deadweight tonnage) of the Jahre Viking is 564.763 tons, Jahre Viking can carry about 650 000 m³ (4.1 million barrels) of crude oil (crude oil) once sailed. Jahre Viking was originally built with a displacement of 480 000 tons by Sumitomo Heavy Industries yard in Japan in 1975 with hull number 1016, which later named Seawise Giant.
3. “Cargo Ship Emma Maersk”
One of the world’s largest container ship owned by a company of course the owner of the largest Container Ship-Maersk Group. The ship is named EMMA Maersk, is the largest container ship that has been operated. This ship is capable of containing nearly 11.000 TEU’s (Twenty feet Equivalent Units), not less than 1.400 container more than the ability to fit other boats. That’s according to the stability limit of the vessel in accordance with company policy, assuming the weight per container 14 tons. But this ship is basically designed to contain 14.500 TEU’s. The ship was built by Odense Steel Shipyard Danish in 2006. There is an interesting fact when the ship was being built, where a large fire broke out on deck and bridge deck accommodation which caused much damage. But everything can be repaired quickly and the vessels were completed on time. The ship is named EMMA Maersk, which is the name of Maersk Mc-Kinney wife of the founder-Maersk Group.
4. “Cruise Ship Queen Mary II”
Cruise operates the largest and most luxurious currently is Quenn Mary 2. Queen Mary 2 operates under the flag of the Cunard Line, which owns the largest cruise ship before the Queen Mary. Queen Mary 2 was registered in Suthampton, United Kingdom. Queen Mary 2 Construction cost around 900 million U.S. dollars, it is one of the most expensive ship ever built. But that much of the development cost is proportional to the luxuries on offer, the Queen Mary 2 is “The most Luxurious pearl in the crown of cruise liners.” The exterior of the Queen Mary 2 is handled by a competent architect Stephen Payne. Very large size to be the biggest obstacle in creating comfort for passengers. For example, Chimney ships must be designed so that the exhaust gas produced by boat engines do not generate pollution around the upper deck which is the most crowded public area on board
5. “Berge Stahl”
Berge Stahl is registered in Stavanger, Norway. This vessel previously registered in Monrovia, Liberia. This ship was built in 1986 by Hyundai Heavy Industries. This ship is now owned by Singapore company BW Group.because a very large size, this ship can only be fully docked at two ports in the world namely, the Terminal Maritimo de Ponta da Madeira in Brazil and the Europoort near Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
6. “Carrier, USS Enterprise”
Largest warships, aircraft carriers, of course is owned by the United States Navy. Of the many wars the U.S. Navy’s fleet, the largest carrier of the Nimitz class. Supercarrier Nimitz class is equipped with each of two nuclear reactors driving four Westinghouse-made steam turbines that are connected with four propeller shafts. Total aircraft that can carry is 85 units, a combination of F-18e / F Super Hornet, EA-6B Prowler, E-2 Hawkeye, C-2 Greyhound, SH/HH-60 Seahawkdan S-3 Viking.
